Yeah,I agree.It is important to remind ourselves to this.
Most rules made for a purpose and hand`s down on this.
If a person can manipulate IP address,that will a huge problem..

I had an account on here before the site dramatically changed but I don't think its up anymore.


And I used the same email I did for that one so I think it was deleted with the old site members.

well, we usually run an IP check, this allows us to see if there is anyone using the same IP and 9 times out of 10, it's usually the same person who made the other account.

@Hana: It's also not too hard telling if someone is a sock puppet or not. Normally they usually tend to be very obvious, their typing manner is also the same(the majority of the time), and sock puppets tend to like to talk about their other accounts.

A D-something attack? Like DDoS? Or Denial of Service? Those're pretty hard to fend off (Zombified/infected computers are used to flood a server, yatta). Just be sure to scan for malware regularly.
