The Chinese Language Customize edition of Sonika will be available at the Fancy Frontier 開拓動漫祭, occurring on July 24 & 25.
http://www.ecapsule....etter_0719.html

The software is groundbreaking for Chinese vocaloid2 software as it offers Traditional Chinese/English dual language interface, which can be used with other Vocaloid2 products. Vocaloid2 finally gets Chinese language database, instructions, and help files provided by the company releasing Sonika in China, ecapsule. The vocal input now works more efficiently for Chineses pronunciation because of the massive library ecapsule added. The chinese edition at the convention will come with the limited edition stickers and posters.

This is the box art:

dude the Chinese artwork looks way better then the American artwork. As for how she will sound, well maybe china will be able to use her better.

Ah, there is no American artwork involved with any Sonika box covers. The artist of the non-Chinese cover is Mario Wibisono, from Indonesia.

Really? The costume still the same as the American Boxart, the only difference is the artstyle.

And what's Sonika's American artist? The first boxart artist?
Like Ash said, the 2nd boxart artist isn't American (wasn't his name obvious enough?).

God, how pretty that first boxart is. I would have loved that to be the original. D8
But I hope the Chinese can make SONiKA sound good or we may have more wanting an ACT.2.
....SONiKA singing Chinese; interesting thought.

...Is there any information on what dialect it's made for? I'm thinking it's going to be mandarin-- but if it was made for both mando and canto--
I'd be really excited, since cantonese and korean are really close phonetically. *V* (...Kpop vocaloid, anyone?)

That box-art does look pretty. (Though why does it make me think of a book? I'm really thinking it looks like a book/novel cover...)

I don't really like Sonika all that much but this is pretty cool.

So Sonika goes Chinese.

Interesting, I wonder if more languages will come in the future? :)
